  • Ag Sciences Entrepreneurship and Innovation The College of Agricultural Sciences’ Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I) Program is dedicated to creating entrepreneurs and innovators in the food and agriculture sectors.
    Our program is rapidly growing with the support of donors like Earl and Kay Harbaugh, and we have helped our entrepreneurs and innovators within our CAS community achieve results.
  • Arts, Sports & Entertainment Law Clinic is an issues-oriented clinic that provides free services to individuals in art, sports, and entertainment fields. Services include providing educational information and, when appropriate, legal representation.
  • Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIENT) major helps students to develop problem-solving and creative thinking skills, along with the ability to spot trends, recognize opportunities, and develop plans to capitalize on high-potential ideas. Emerging entrepreneurs and innovative managers of small to large businesses must be competent in various mediums of communication, have good negotiation skills, lead with ethics and integrity, and be grounded in business aspects of planning, capital investing, goal setting, and decision-making.

  • Happy Valley Communications is a student-run public relations firm that exists to offer professional public relations services to the community of Penn State and national campaigns.
  • Happy Valley LaunchBox  is a no-cost accelerator and co-working space designed to provide startups with the support and resources needed to build a sustainable and scalable business and a viable plan for growth.
  • Innoblue provides pro bono, professional mentoring to entrepreneurs and their ventures. Innoblue offers community-building dinners to our entrepreneurs and ventures to gauge their project’s status, offering informal advice, networking opportunities, and more.
  • Invent Penn State  The aim of “Invent Penn State” is to drive job creation, economic development and student career success by connecting researchers with the people who can help bring their discoveries to the marketplace.   • Penn State Summer Founders Program funds Penn State teams $10,000 each to work on their startup, social good, or non-profit idea over the next summer semester.
  • Rural Economic Development Clinic works with individuals and organizations to assist in providing tools for successful business operation. An example of a potential client is an agricultural producer who needs help drafting a contract to market goods using the Community Supported Agriculture model or to sell produce to local restaurants. Other services could include providing legal assistance with business entity formation and reviewing contracts, reviewing leases for wind/solar energy or oil/gas extraction, or developing model agreements or ordinances.
