Elizabeth Hay

Elizabeth Hay is a business consultant for the Penn State Small Business Development Center. Her consulting efforts are primarily focused on providing free, confidential one-on-one consulting to current and prospective business owners.

Elizabeth has more than 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur and consulting with small business owners. Her expertise includes employee management, insurance compliance, accounting and bookkeeping, government contracting, bid and proposal writing, safety management and overall business management. She has worked with multiple SBIR awards through phase III and has training in DCAA contract accounting. Elizabeth has experience with woman owned and veteran owned business certifications, compliance, and bidding under those designations. She is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and known as our “in-house” entrepreneur.

Elizabeth is the President of WiNGs, a State College based women in business networking group, she teaches yoga throughout the community, and volunteers as a pop warner cheer coach. She lives in State College, with her husband and 6 children.
