Penn State SBDC program prepares businesses for long-term success
This spring, the Penn State SBDC wrapped up the second annual cohort of it's Business Plan Bootcamp program, which prepared area entrepreneurs for small business success. As a culmination of the 8-week program, participants competed in a pitch competition for a chance to win startup funds.
Entrepreneurs compete for better future at Tech Tournament
In late April, Invent Penn State held their annual Tech Tournament, where tech companies competed in a dynamic timed-pitch event. Program participants leveraged the resources of the entrepreneurial ecosystem at Penn State, including the Penn State SBDC.
Supporting Centre County small business development
On National SBDC Day, the Penn State Small Business Development Center celebrated entrepreneurs and highlighted the resources available to the small businesses who bring so much to the local community.

After utilizing programs through Invent Penn State the Penn State Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Andrew Strause created an engagement app called Navengage that aims to transform students’ relationships with their university.
Paint Ninjas make their mark on the Innovation Hub building
In 2016, the Penn State SBDC helped Paint Ninjas build their administrative foundation. Now, their career has come full circle, as their latest project was painting the the new Penn State Innovation Hub, where the SBDC has a satellite office.
